Where it started
I started my career in research science, which taught me one discipline that most business advisors never acquire: the ability to distinguish between a hypothesis and a proof and gives me a research-grade approach to problem diagnosis. I don't accept symptoms as causes. I look for the structural root — the process failure, the translation gap, the architectural flaw — that is producing the outcome the founder can see but cannot yet explain.
What happened
I have founded and exited three companies, held senior corporate roles, and served as a Non-Executive Director across multiple sectors. Each stage added a layer to what became PATH — not as a theoretical model, but as a set of hard-won operational principles tested against real scaling challenges at real revenue levels.
Why the PATH exists
The Unicorn Mentor exists because the gap between a £3M business and a £50M business is not usually a strategy gap. It is an operational architecture gap. Most founders know what they want to build. Very few have the infrastructure to build it without leaking value at every stage. PATH is the framework I developed to close that gap — and The Unicorn Mentor is how I deliver it.
